Greetings!
Welcome to the new electronic version of the Northern California Olympians (NCO) newsletter. In a salute to our environment and to keep up with the times, we've gone electronic. If you know of Olympians in our area who are not in touch with us, please send their email or just forward this e-news to them and encourage them to sign up. We are excited about this new step and look forward to seeing you at our next event.
In the Olympic Spirit,

2009 Summer National Senior Games
From August 1 to 15, 10,000 athletes ages 50 and over will compete in 25 sports at Stanford and the Bay Area - more athletes will compete here than in Beijing. The United States Olympian Alumni will have a "Legends" booth in the Athletes Village organized by Micki King (1968, 72 Diving) and Gary Hall, Sr. (1968, 72 Swimming). Olympians from Northern California are invited to join in, help staff the booth, sign autographs, and enjoy viewing the competition. For more information and to sign up for a shift or two, emailacribbs@2009seniorgames.org. For more about the Games and the competition schedule, visit www.2009seniorgames.org.
