ASE 2012 What a Show it Was!
| Wow! We have so many exciting things to share, we are forced to break them into several newsletter editions. The 18 hour live sewing challenge, Passion For Fashion, is the focus of this issue.
Here is the theme and scenario. Contestants took turns choosing from 13 different insect photos for their inspiration.
Fashion Bugs Me! The 2012 Passion For Fashion Challenge Scenario Your client is a special VIP guest at a cocktail event for the Science Museum's opening reception of the new Insect Pavilion. It is important that her ensemble be "Fashion Forward". Your challenge is to use your photo of an insect to inspire the cocktail attire you make for this client. You will explain how you were inspired by the photo and how it relates to your garment and it should be obvious enough that the judges can see it easily.
