Nick Coman
Here's what Nick tells us about himself: I have sewn my whole life: all types of needle work, embroidery, knitting, garments, quilts, crocheting, beading... You name it I have tried it! After a few botched attempts to work in fields that didn't involve a needle and thread, I got my degree in fashion design and have worked in the field ever since. I travel the country teaching surface design and sewing techniques for other fiber addicts. I make art to feed my soul and teach to help others. I share 3 cats a huge garden and a wonderful life with my partner in Southern California.
Look for Nick's all day workshop on page 4 of the registration brochure - Easy DeColoured Cardigan. His 2 hr hands-on seminar, DeColourant Plus Surface Design is available Friday or Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm or Saturday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. |

NYC Fashion Sewing Tour 2013
|
May 5 - 13, 2013
The dates are set, the hotel is booked and we have already begun to plan the fashion sewing trip of a lifetime just for you!
Join other sewing enthusiasts as we tour NYC, visit designers' workrooms, costume makers, see a Broadway play, shop for fabrics, leathers, trims, buttons and sew much more....!
To learn more about how you can be one of the lucky 20 who will enjoy the 2013 tour contact us at: 248-889-3111 or emailThis tour took all the fears of visiting a big city away. With Marsha and Marla guiding us on to the correct subway or bus we visited the inner sanctums of designers, wholesale fabric houses, found little niche fabric shops. We cruised around Manhattan island and dined very well. I just wish I could have done this 40 years ago but I experienced it in this lifetime. Don't put this trip off!! Cherry Delaney
