Make a point to mark your calendar today for September 26 - 27 for Pre-Show Workshops and September 28 - 30 for the expo (seminars, fashion shows, demonstrations, make & takes, contests and shopping). The registration brochure will be available online in mid June and registration begins July 17th.

Couturier and author Susan Khalje received her professional training at the New York couture salon Chez Cez et Bez, and worked as a fashion designer and manufacturing supervisor on Seventh Avenue. The author of two books on fine garment sewing, Linen and Cotton and Bridal Couture, Susan established The Couture Sewing School in 1993 to teach fine sewing techniques across the country, and she annually takes a group of students to Paris for an insider's look at the couture arts. Susan, who lives and works in Baltimore, was recently honored with the Association of Sewing and Design Professionals' Lifetime Achievement Award. Visit her website at www.susankhalje.com
Lace is always very popular in fashion and is one of the hottest current fashion trends. On September 26 & 27 Susan will teach a workshop, The Lace Master Class, All about Lace. On Saturday, September 29th she will present two one hour seminars and one, two hour hands-on seminar all based on couture techniques and she will serve as a judge in the Passion for Fashion Saturday evening event.
