Bellingrath Gardens and Home is offering a special winter discount. Admission for the Gardens and Home to all guests will be $16 from February 1 through February 14, 2011. This is a savings of $4 per person. The discount is not valid with any other offers or coupons.

As a member, you receive free admission to the Gardens for one year, free admission to all Winter Wednesday programs, special discounts, invitations to members-only programs, behind the scenes tours and special events.
It is all about the Camellia at Bellingrath Gardens and Home in partnership with the Camellia Club of South Alabama on Saturday, February 4th. Visitors are invited to bring their prized Camellia blossoms to the Magnolia Café to display in the Mini Camellia Show. Containers will be provided by the Camellia Club. Members will also be available to answer questions and identify blossoms.

Becky has spent hours discovering all of the different Camellias planted throughout Bellingrath Gardens. She will guide you through the Gardens on this special plant tour.$12.00 Garden admission is required to participate in this program. Garden tour is weather permitting.
Great Backyard Bird Count

The Great Backyard Bird Count is an annual four-day event that engages bird watchers of all ages in counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of where the birds are across the continent. Anyone can participate, from beginning bird watchers to experts. It takes as little as 15 minutes on one day, or you can count for as long as you like each day of the event. It's free, fun, and easy-and it helps the birds.
Join us on Wednesdays in February for special programs.All programs are free for Members of the Friends of Bellingrath and $12 for non-members and guests. The $12 fee includes admission to Bellingrath Gardens for the day of the program. Registration requested. Call 251.973.2217.

Festival of Flowers

The Festival of Flowers is acknowledged as the premier flower and garden event of the greater Gulf Coast. The Festival takes place during what is perhaps Mobile's prettiest month, with trees leafing out and bloomers displaying their splendor. It is arrayed under tent and sky with over 300,000 square feet of exhibits that enchant, entertain, and educate visitors at this feast for all the senses.
