Azalea Watch 2011
The azaleas are coming! The azaleas are coming! Each year Bellingrath's amazing azalea display is anxiously awaited by guests from all over the country.  Everyone wants to know when the azaleas will be at their best. Since the display is completely dependent on weather conditions; we can estimate the azalea peak but not determine an exact date. On March 1, Bellingrath begins Azalea Watch 2011 to help guests decide for themselves when the azaleas look their best.  Each day we will post a new image showing the progression of the display.  Visit www.bellingrath.org to follow along.

Festival of Flowers
March 24 to 27
Festival of Flowers
In 16 years, 150,000 visitors have been amazed by the grand floral displays and life-sized gardens at the Festival of Flowers. The 18th Annual Festival of 2011 promises to be the largest outdoor flower show in the Southeast!

The Festival of Flowers is acknowledged as the premier flower and garden event of the greater Gulf Coast. The Festival takes place during what is perhaps Mobile's prettiest month, with trees leafing out and bloomers displaying their splendor. It is arrayed under tent and sky with over 300,000 square feet of exhibits that enchant, entertain, and educate visitors at this feast for all the senses. Once again, Bellingrath will be a featured display at the festival. Be sure to see the magnificent garden our horticulturists have created.
