Magic Christmas in Lights 2010
Each year Bellingrath makes additions and enhancements to its annual light display. To celebrate the 15th season of Magic Christmas in Lights, we have added a new scene, Snowflakes Lane, a new Coca-Cola Village in the Bellingrath Museum Home and have lit the cast iron fountain in the Rose Garden. Snowflake Lane is Bellingrath's interpretation of snow flurries falling in winter. White and blue cascading lights twinkle from tall oaks that line the pathway between the Rose Garden and the Great Lawn. There are also individual snowflakes lining the path and filling the trees as guests approach the Emerald Forest.
The Coca-Cola Christmas Village is a 37 piece miniature porcelain village created between 1992 and 2002 by the Cavanagh Company. The village was donated to the Gardens by the Rawlins Family of Gulf Breeze, Florida and is on display in the Bellingrath Museum Home. The new Rose Garden Fountain was unveiled to our guests this summer. During Magic Christmas in Lights the fountain becomes the centerpiece of Butterflies in Flight. As butterflies hover all around, each tier is lit in white lights. The fountain glows beautifully against the night sky. |

Magic Christmas in Lights Tickets
Advance Tickets for Magic Christmas in Lights are now available. Visitors may pre-purchase tickets at the door during regular hours of operation, at participating Regions Banks and at www.bellingrath.org .

Individuals and groups with pre-purchased tickets will be admitted to the Gardens through a special WILL CALL station. On Thursday through Sunday during Magic Christmas in Lights the WILL CALL station will be set up between the Entry Building and the Gift Shop/Cafe Building. The WILL CALL station is located on the far left in the Entry Building the remaining weekdays or when visitation is light.
Magic Christmas in Lights opened Friday, November 26th and will run through New Year's Eve. Bellingrath is closed only on December 25th. Normal operating hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM are extended until 9:00 PM throughout the holiday season.

Magic Christmas in Lights Performing Groups Each year during MCIL between Sunday and Thursday Bellingrath Gardens and Home hosts regional performing groups as they take the stage on the South Terrace to entertain MCIL audiences. Choral groups from churches, schools and community organizations from around the region have been invited to perform Christmas carols and other holiday favorites.
