Center to Host
'Sample
South County'

WA) - The Lynnwood
Convention Center has been selected as
the location for the 2009 Sample
South County,
April 29 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00pm.

South County
is a local food and beverage expo where members of the community are invited to
taste the finest selections of food, wine and beer from local restaurants. The event features top restaurateurs and
caterers throughout Snohomish
County as well as live
music, and gives attendees a chance to network with other local business people
and community members.
"The restaurant industry was hit early and
hard by the recession. It is significant that Snohomish County's
local food and wine vendors continue to provide a quality product and work for
their employees," said Chamber CEO/President Jean Hales. "This is a great
opportunity to support and recognize the local restaurants, wineries and
breweries that continually ad value and stability to our community."
Participating restaurants, include: Billy
McHales, Boston's, Buca di Beppo, Jersey Mike's Subs, Scott's Bar and Grill,
Sparta's, The Keg, Rose Hill Chocolate Company, Echo Falls Golf and Catering,
Wine 101, Red Hook Brewery and more...
"This promises to be a great community gathering. And we are pleased to partner with Chamber in
presenting this 1st Annual event," said Kelvin Moore, SMG's General
Manager for the Lynnwood
Convention Center. "Our Executive Chef Michael
Felsenstein will participate as well, and will give local
wedding and special event planners a chance to sample his outstanding culinary
offerings."
