Workshop with Light Photographic and Ben Wilmore
|
"In December I had the amazing opportunity to spend a week at Light Photographic Workshops with Hal and Victoria Schmitt. Although I grew up with my father's enthusiasm for photography, my own fervor for the hobby had yet to develop until recently and now I'm always eager to learn how to improve. So when I heard that Ben Wilmore was going to teach a workshop with Hal, I jumped at the chance to attend. The class was amazingly well put together, covering the perfect amount of material while balancing theory and practice. I must admit, I'm excited to keep practicing the new methods I learned, both in the field and in post processing.
The class covered several different techniques including light painting, HDR and time-lapse to name a few. While we were out practicing these techniques, it quickly became apparent to me the importance of a rock solid tripod. For my height (5'9) and gear, the TVC-33 and BH-55 LR were the perfect support package which helped me focus on Ben's instructions and not on any flaws in my gear.
Thanks again Light Photographic Workshops and Ben Wilmore for the wonderful class!" Joe Johnson, Jr Director of Marketing
