New Plate for Pentax 645D

Our new plate for the Pentax 645D is now shipping. Buy two and you've got an L-plate! Our new plate has dual handstrap lugs and a bidirectional dovetail. A bidirectional dovetail means that you'll be able to orient your quick-release clamp to allow either left/right shifting of the camera, or fore/aft shifting.

TH-DVTL: new dovetail plate is perfect for round bases.


This round quick-release plate allows quick mounting & dismounting of most tripod heads with round bases. The image below shows our TH-DVTL installed on the bottom of our PG-02 HB Pano-Gimbal head.

Want to use one tripod with both a gimbal head and a ballhead? Or do you simply want to remove your gimbal head from your tripod for easier transport? Easy - just install a quick-release clamp to the top of your tripod or leveling base, put this new plate under your heads, and you're ready to go.

Our TH-DVTL works on most round bases. It is an excellent match for the Really Right Stuff PG-02 Pano-Gimbal head or BH-55 ballhead. It's also a perfect fit on the GigaPan EPIC Pro motorized pano head.
