Doug Gardner - Wild Photo Adventures

soapboxWild Photo Adventures goes behind the scenes at RRS.

Doug Gardner of Wild Photo Adventures brought his film crew to San Luis Obispo to visit Really Right Stuff. We took Doug to the coast to shoot elephant seals and coastal wildlife. We also took Doug behind the scenes at RRS to show him how we make our L-plates and ballheads. Watch Doug's show: see how "Stuff" is made and meet some of the people behind the scenes at Really Right Stuff.

Wild Photo AdventuresWild Photo Adventures, Season 3

Doug's popular TV show is filming its 3rd season and Really Right Stuff is proud to sponsor this unique nature and wildlife photography show. Here's what Doug has to say:

"With two Seasons of Wild Photo Adventures TV in the bag we are excited to start filming Season 3 in April. With the tremendous support of our Premiere Sponsor, Really Right Stuff from the show's inception, we have been able to grow the show each year with this year's Season 3 promising some exciting new changes. For starters the new shows will be filmed completely in high definition with an expanded film crew. Another big change will be complete nationwide coverage on public television to include Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Hawaii, and the southern tier of Canada. Some of the great shows we have planned for the new season are: Mountain Wild Flowers, Wild Horses, wildlife of the Outer Banks, Puffins, Moose in Maine, Storm Chasing, Yellowstone's backcountry in Winter, waterfowl of the Mississippi and Florida's Everglades just to name a few."

While Doug is expanding his TV coverage everyday, the show may not be available in your viewing area. But you can buy DVDs from Seasons 1 & 2 or view all of the episodes online.
MH01COMING IN MAY...
new L-Plate for Leica M8/M9

Leica M9

Due to popular demand, Really Right Stuff is creating a custom plate for the Leica M8 and M9 cameras. This new Leica plate will be unlike any other ever made.

The passionate voices of our Leica shooters dictated a fresh approach to the design of this plate. Instead of a standard L-plate that mounts to the camera's tripod socket, our plate actually completely replaces the Leica base. This replacement base will have an integrated dovetail for mounting in a Really Right Stuff clamp. Use the base alone as a conventional plate, or add an optional vertical component to create the L-plate. This vertical component will screw precisely to the base using our standard hex key tool.

Excited about this design, but still want to use a grip? No problem. Add our new optional grip; the grip will screw to the other side of the base plate.

Innovative. Superior support. It's "Really Right."

Subscribe to our Leica email list to receive updates about the design, price, and availability of these new products.

Happy shooting!

Sincerely,
