Dear Friends of Balancing Act,
What better way to get in a happy mood than attending three days of Advanced Certified Laughter Leader training with the World Laughter Tour? Besides lots of laughs, I came away with a few gems to pass on to you: Reframe. If you struggle with doing something like regular exercise, try reframing it. For example, if you can't say "Exercise Rocks!" say "Movement Rocks!" Other reframing possibilities: paying bills (timeliness rocks!); doing laundry (cleanliness rocks!); carpooling (eavesdropping rocks!)
Brush Backwards. Try brushing your teeth with your non-dominant hand. Could make you more creative!
Move around. Don't try to do your creative thinking in the same physical space as you do your linear thinking. Hope the holidays are treating you well. And if not, find an aspect you like and reframe. Gingerbread rocks??
