Are you planning to attend the Woodward Dream Cruise this week?
If you're planning to be in our neighborhood on Saturday, please plan to stop by. We'll be supplying COLD bottled water as long as it lasts, and we simply ask that you consider a donation to Loretta's Love, our Light the Night Walk team.
Light the Night is an annual event geared toward raising funds for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. My Mother-in-Law, Loretta Wilcox fell victim to this disease in 2004. She received her diagnosis on Mother's Day, and was gone by June 22, just a couple week's before Nate was born on July 9. We've participating in the walk since 2008, and our team raised over $1,000 last year. We'd like to more than double that amount this year, and hope to do so with our the help of our neighbors in Birmingham.
