Stewardship 2013:
A Celebration of Generosity
"Stewardship 2013: A Celebration of Generosity" is this year's stewardship theme. Please read a letter here from Bobsie Swift, on behalf of the Stewardship Committee.
Each week in the bulletin and Spiritual Adventures, until the Ingathering on Oct. 21, we will feature various ministries of the parish.
This week we focus on Adult Formation, and Children's Education. You can read about what's happening here.
In addition, cottage meetings will be held the first two weeks in October. If you have not responded to your invitation, please call Patty Slembarski at the church office (706-324-4264) so your hosts will know how many to expect. If the evening you are assigned is not convenient, Patty will be glad to offer you another time.

 Blessing of the Animals
It's that time again! Every year, St. Thomas parishioners, as well as the wider community, look forward to blessing our pets. This year's event begins at 2 p.m. Oct. 7.
Mother Lorna Erixson will be on hand to give your pet a blessing or, if your pet is unable to come, she will bless a photo or a stuffed animal in its place.
As is customary, veterinarians will be on site to answer questions.

Last call for Foyers
New Foyers groups are forming. Foyers groups are groupings of parishioners who meet regularly for dinner, usually in each others' homes, but sometimes in restaurants or wherever they wish. It's another way for us to get to know one another better. Click here to read more, including how to sign up. This is the last week to do so.
