Baptism, Wassail, and Trimming the Tree!
|
|
Wednesday, December 21, is the feast day of St. Thomas the Apostle, for whom our parish is named. In honor of this day, you are invited to an evening of special events for the whole family!
We will begin by celebrating Baptism and Holy Eucharist at 5:30 pm in the Nave. The Baptismal candidate is baby Richard Briggs Freeman, son of Barry & Catherine (McCann) Freeman, and grandson of Martin & Sandy McCann.
Then, beginning at 6:00, the Parish Life Committee is serving dinner and festive Wassail in All Saints' Hall. The main dish will be roast pork. Parishioners are asked to bring a dessert to share.
Following dinner, all children, youth, and adult volunteers are invited to the Nave to decorate the Christmas tree. All helping hands are welcome!
