Episcokids' Workshop "A Walk Through Holy Week" Was a Great Success!Palm Sunday

This past Palm Sunday, after a very moving worship service, approximately 20 children gathered in All Saints' Hall for a workshop focusing specifically on the events that took place during Jesus' time that led up to his crucifixion. While some of the discussion was serious, we managed to have a lot of fun.

Kathy France talked to the children about the traditions centered around hot cross buns. She gave each child one and sent some home to their families. We carved soap (to cleanse us from sin), made resurrection eggs (stations of the cross), did marble painting to create a Good Friday project, and carved and painted Paschal Candles. Thank you to all the parents who allowed your children to participate!

Reminders:

+ Please attend the Maundy Thursday service with your child. It is a very moving service that includes washing of the feet.

+ Bring a basket to church on Easter Sunday so that your child can participate in the Easter Egg Hunt starting at 9:30 a.m.

+ Bring cut flowers to church on Easter Sunday so your children can "flower" the cross at the start of the worship service.
