Donate Candy for Children's Easter Egg Hunt!
As we prayerfully enter into Lent, we are also looking ahead to celebrate Easter morning, which is on April 24 this year. Traditionally, on that morning, we invite the children of the parish and their families to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt during the Sunday School hour. For each child participating, we like to have at least a dozen eggs stuffed with pre-wrapped candy by Sunday, April 17. Bins for these will be located in All Saints' Hall or in the Christian Education Office. We have lots of empty eggs from last year, so if church members would like to donate pre-wrapped candy, it would be greatly appreciated!

Support the Wynnton Neighborhood Network
March is St. Thomas' designated month to donate food and other necessary items to the Wynnton Neighborhood Network (WNN). Parishioners can pick up an empty bag in the Narthex to fill with these items, or can purchase a pre-filled bag for $15.00. Please make checks payable to Wynnton Neighborhood Network. In 2010, Wynnton Neighborhood Network--with your help!--assisted 3,351 families, which included almost 3,500 children. Join us again this March in supporting this wonderful and beneficial ministry! | |

Recognizing Your Achievements

Ron Anderson , associate artistic director and director of the Springer Theatre Academy, has been presented the Francis J. Springer Award, which recognizes top volunteers, including actors, donors, and other supporters of the theater. The Springer Theatre Academy, now in its fifteenth year, has taught thousands of young people "life skills through theater skills." Paul Pierce, Springer producing artistic director and fellow member of St. Thomas, said in a press release: "The Academy has transformed our organization. In the past, we were just doing shows and having classes. Only when Ron came, education became the center of the organization, and it has sustained us." Congratulations, Ron!
