Adult Forum Advances Your Spiritual Education

Adult members of the parish are invited to join our Adult Forum as it continues to discuss Jesus' Great Sermon on the Mount. Through Jesus' message and example, we are challenged to live a Christian life: "Turn the other cheek? Walk the extra mile?... Really?!" Join the St. Thomas Readers Book Discussion Group
The St. Thomas Readers Book Discussion Group will meet at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 24, at the home of Pat McMahon, 4322 Deanery Court, Columbus. The book under discussion is In the Sanctuary of Outcasts by Neil White. This powerful memoir follows White as he experiences a journey that takes him from the top of Gulf Coast society to incarceration at Carville (LA) Federal Prison. His redemptive journey is worth reading and discussion. In the Sanctuary of Outcasts is available in local bookstores, online, and at the public library. For further information, please contact Sonya Boyd at 706-563-6161 or janjulau@aol.com. All are welcome to join!

Spotlight On: Parish Life Committee

We congratulate the Parish Life Committee on hosting a successful potluck supper on Sunday, February 13. The event attracted almost 50 attendees, and provided good food, good company, prayer, and togetherness. We thank Lynne Hahn and the Parish Life Committee as a whole for its talents in nurturing our bodies with food and nurturing our hearts with fellowship. We look forward to more events from the Parish Life Committee!

Diocesan Ministry Fair Celebrates Many Gifts -
Saturday, March 12
One of the highlights of our diocesan year is the spring Ministry Fair, where hundreds of our friends gather to learn, share, and celebrate the work of our church. The always-interesting "Great Gathering" plus over 50 workshops offer something for everyone! We at St. Thomas plan to take a large delegation this year.

A Special Thanks to our Donors
St. Thomas extends a special thanks to our recent donors. We thank Sonya Boyd for her donation to the VIP program, and Paul and Jo Cates for their donation to purchase a prayer book as a gift of thanksgiving for David Callaway. We appreciate this spirit of generosity among all our parishioners, including those donors who elect not to be named publicly. Luke 21:1-4
