Ten Years at Marian Middle School | We've hit a milestone this year. In 10 years, Marian Middle School has grown to offer classes,

Marian Magic 2010
|
On behalf of the girls of Marian Middle School we would like to thank you for a successful Marian Magic. The event was held at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel and featured champagne glasses and chairs that were handpainted by the girls of Marian, as well as silent and live auctions. With over 420 people in attendance, we were able to raise over $200,000 to help break the cycle of poverty through education. We're still celebrating 10 years of empowering young women!
Congratulations to Award of Excellence Honorees, Steven M. Rull and the Hancock Securities Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.

- September 23, Live and Learn Lecture Series
Join Marian Middle School in welcoming Father Greg Boyle to the first annual Live and Learn Lecture Series on Thursday, September 23 (location to be determined). Twenty years ago a Jesuit pastor in gang-ridden Los Angeles began to respond to young people who needed help surviving the dangerous streets around the parish. Father Greg Boyle began with a school and developed a large enterprise of related businesses and free services known as Homeboy Industries.
- October 7, Third Annual Women's Event
Last year, over 250 women enjoyed networking, cocktails and light hors d'oeuvres to benefit Marian Middle School and empower young women to reach their full potential. Don't miss this years event which will take place on Thursday, Oct. 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center.
