Time for Blow Out Camp

Summer marks one of our students' favorite times of year - time for Blow Out Camp!

Each year, our middle school students attend Xenos Christian Fellowship's Blow Out Camp, held at Camp Ohio.  Camp serves as an exciting and unifying (and even life changing) time for our students to start off their school year off on a great foot.

Getting to Blow Out Camp is a team effort.  Parents, themselves, are asked to contribute a small portion towards camp expenses, and students use their own personal "Bling" from the school economy to help pay for themselves.  (The student economy is funded by profits from the student run business, Harambee Imports.)  However, Urban Concern and Harambee Christian School try to raise the majority of funds through fundraisers inside the school, as well as in the community.

Car Washes for Blow Out!
As apart of their fundraising efforts, students will be running a carwash at Luke's Automotive Services from June 4th - June 7th between the hours of 4 - 5:30 each day.

Only $5 dollars gets you a squeaky clean new ride, while helping our students make their way to camp!

Luke's Automotive is located at: 5422 Byers Circle E.Columbus, OH 43229.
