Art Gallery Bicycle Tour Rescheduled Tour Date Moved to June 12
Organizers have rescheduled the Art Gallery Bicycle Tour to Saturday, June 12, due to inclement weather. Rain or shine, the new event date is set to retain its original schedule. The second annual urban bicycle tour was organized by Peter Davis of Champaign
Cycle and co-sponsored by participating galleries and shops. The tour
pace is at your leisure and begins at 10:00 a.m. in the sculpture
garden at Meadowbrook Park. Entry forms are available at participating
businesses. Proceeds will be donated to 40 North/88 West, Champaign
County's Art, Culture and Entertainment Council.

Bring a bag and take part in a photo project on June 12! BAG is photographic installation exploring the duality between the way people characterize themselves in public and the private contents of their handbags. It is depicted by photographs of each subject against a neutral background with their bag, purse, briefcase or any other container they carry on a daily basis. Work will be exhibited in the fall and is sponsored in part by a City of Urbana Arts Grant.

Just for Kids: Yoga Camp at Amara A Place for Creative Expression

Noontide Trilogy Mythological Opera

V. Picasso Offers Resident Support
V. Picasso will host a benefit to help support Ashley, an Urbana resident in need after tragedy struck her life in May. Bands will include The Duke of Uke and his Novelty Orchestra as well as The Curses. Plus, Colin Taylor of My Dear Alan Andrews will be playing an acoustic set.
