Claudia Schmidt Vocal Workshop & Performance
A quirky and
wonderful hodge-podge of music, poetry, story, laughter, drama, and
celebrating the moment!
This will be the first in a series of
Folk Music Concerts arranged by Ed Hawkes of the CU Folk & Roots
Festival and co-sponsored by Heartland Gallery. One critic
has described a Claudia Schmidt concert as "....a lot like falling in
love. You never know what's going to happen next, but chances are it's
going to be wonderful, every moment is burned into your memory, and you
know you'll never be the same again." Over her 30 years-and-counting
career, Claudia has lent her beautifully expressive singing and speaking
voice to wide ranging performance mediums. Admission: $10
(advance), $15 (at the door), $25 (concert + vocal workshop)
