 ESPN College GameDay Driven by State Farm will broadcast live from the University of Illinois this Saturday prior to the prime-time basketball matchup between the Fighting Illini and Michigan State. At each stop of the Bus Tour you can register to win: One of 3 pairs of A-Section tickets to the Illinois vs. Michigan game or a limited edition ESPN GameDay basketball autographed by Coach Weber! You may enter only once at each stop, but may visit multiple stops to enter at each one. The Bus is going to make a stop in Urbana:

Coaches vs. Cancer: Downtown Throwdown
Downtown Districts join the team this weekend!
 On Saturday, February 6th, four local business organizations will join forces with Bruce Weber in the first ever "Downtown Throwdown" in support of the American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer fundraising drive. The Urbana Business Association, Krannert Center District, Campustown Business Group, Champaign Downtown Association, The News-Gazette, WDWS and WHMS have all united in an effort to raise funds for this wonderful cause. These Downtown Districts have encouraging their members to donate a percentage of their sales on Saturday, February 6th to the cause.

 The Most Country 95.3 The Wolf & Fluid Events Presents James Otto & Josh Thompson Live in Concert. James Otto most famous for his hit "Just Got Started Lovin' You". It was the number one country single of 2008 according to the Billboard Year-End charts. Josh Thompson released his debut single "Beer on the Table," in July of 2009. Thompson's debut album, Way Out Here, is slated for a 2010 release.

A celebration of the art of cinematography!
 The IMC Film Festival will once again highlight local and regional artists, giving them an opportunity to share their work and connect with other artists, community members, and organizations. FRIDAY: Healthcare: Local and Global Perspectives. SATURDAY: Local, Artistic, Independent Films and LIVE Performances. SUNDAY: People's Potluck, People's Documentaries. Local artist and composer Vin Calianno has composed a new score for "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari," a German expressionism film from 1921. Hear a live performance of Calianno's score as the original footage is projected. Not to be missed! This performance will be on Saturday evening at 9:30 pm.

Winter Tales Workshop!
In this workshop, Hopi-Tewa storyteller and author Eldrena Douma helps participants pinpoint personal life stories (both remembered and waiting to be re-awakened) that are appropriate for story development. She also shares tales that give examples of how history and life stories remain strong among her tribes and family and how some of these stories have made their way into books for preservation purposes. Fee: Adults $30; Students $20.

The Champaign County Regional Planning Commission (RPC) is an intergovernmental organization that provides and administers a variety of planning, community & economic development, early childhood education, and social services for Champaign County and surrounding area. The RPC is also a central resource for federal, state, and local business loan programs. Currently, the RPC has loans available for new and expanding businesses in the community.
