Pecha Kucha's focus is on passion, not portfolio, and the presenters come from extremely diverse creative backgrounds. The Pecha Kucha format, 20 slides for 20 seconds each, allows 8-16 presenters only 6 minutes and 40 seconds to present. This keeps presentations concise and the interest level up.
