The Lincoln Square Village Holiday Market is very excited to bring Champaign-Urbana holiday shoppers another year of unique arts, crafts and edibles from talented local vendors. The Holiday Market will continue every Saturday through December 20th from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The market features over 50 extraordinary merchants from Champaign-Urbana, and the surrounding area, selling products made or grown in Illinois, including fresh produce, baked goods, and tons of arts and crafts. To right, you can see one of our jewelry vendors, Tammy Soper's beautiful pieces. You can find more of her work by visiting her booth space located in the Northeast hallway. |
| Urbana Offers Free Holiday Parking |
Urbana Mayor, Laurel Prussing is pleased to announce free parking in our "Business Downtown" from Thanksgiving Day through New Year's Day. The free parking is limited to two hours per day. Meters that are free are covered with a holiday bag that states 'free parking'. This year, specific lots and meters are designated as either free parking or long-term parking. The free meters are for customers of downtown businesses, and the long-term meters are for employees and those people needing to park for a longer period of time. Free parking: Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 16, Lot 17 and Lot 22. Long-term parking: Lot 5, Lot 9, Lot 11, Lot 25 and the parking garage. Parking enforcement will be distributing more information on holiday parking to all businesses. If you have questions concerning the program, please contact Delora Siebrecht, Urbana Finance Department, at 384-2356. |
