DEAN'S MESSAGE
| Motivation. We feel it in these last few weeks as the summer term comes to an end. Final papers and proposals are due. Exams await us to test newly-learned knowledge. The lure of the summer sun finds a way to tease us as we keep chipping away at another academic quarter. Remain patient and keep up the hard work. We've come this far and the results have been nothing short of outstanding success. The triumph of CoE's climb to the top is evident with two of our student receiving the prestigious Fulbright scholarship. In addition, we've more than doubled our research contracts - an unprecedented accomplishment. Our faculty and staff have earned outstanding awards for their research and service to the University. We look forward to celebrating the end of the term at our many upcoming events. Cheers!

CoE Celebrates National Lab Day

|
CoE kicked-off the National Lab Day celebration May 12, 2010. NLD is a year-long initiative CoE is supporting in an effort to respond to President Barack Obama's request for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) leaders to bring exciting, hands-on, discovery-based experiences to K-12 students. CoE is taking great steps to broaden their role in STEM to make sure volunteers, students, faculty, staff, alumni and industry work together to educate our leaders of the future. When an educator from the Philadelphia community posts a project, CoE's system will help them get the resources needed to make that project happen. For more information on NLD, please click here.
