DEAN'S MESSAGE

Dean

When I looked out into the crowd to see our graduates in their caps and gowns with their glowing smiles, I felt privileged to witness their incredible accomplishment. Family, friends and members of the Drexel community shared my bittersweet emotions as we bid farewell to the Class of 2009 during Drexel's 122nd commencement ceremony. While it's difficult to say goodbye to the graduating class, it's an exciting time. We see our grads receive not only their degree, but their ticket to change the world. Many believe graduation is the end; CoE believes it's only the beginning. Our graduates are joining an alumni network of engineers that make a difference. We can count on our most recent graduates to do the same. My warmest congratulations to the Class of 2009 and the best of luck to you in your new beginnings.

Selcuk Guceri
