The Lead Based Paint Renovation & Repair CertificationTraining Program is available at a discount price to PDCA Portland Chapter members  through a partnership with the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Metropolitan Portland. You do not need to be a HBA member to receive the special PDCA Portland Chapter discount. Please review the dates below and contact the HBA directly to register to attend.

A federally mandated certification provided by the
National Center for Healthy Housing

Under an EPA rule that goes into effect April 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities and schools built before 1978, must be certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.

This one-day class will give you the EPA mandated training and certification that you need to be compliant with the new federal law.
