Mike Muller Appointed to Scranton's Historic Architectural Review Board

After a 3 year term on Scranton's Historic Architecture Review Board (HARB), Michele Dempsey is passing the bar to Mike Muller. Mike has been appointed by Mayor Chris Doherty to this position, and has been approved by City Council.
HARB's purpose is to help protect the distinctive and historic character of Scranton by considering the effects of proposed new construction, demolitions, and exterior alterations to buildings and properties within historic districts and on the Historic Properties List and by ruling on their appropriateness. After reviewing proposals, HARB then makes its recommendations to City Council. If the proposed work is acceptable, City council issues a Certificate of Appropriateness, required before work begins. HARB is an integral player in the preservation of Scranton's historic gems. Congrats Mike!
