We have three captives, er, interns, helping out this summer. Here's a little about each of them.

When he's not being held captive at DxDempsey, he works part time for the Scranton Wilkes- Barre Yankees operating the message center for the baseball games at PNC Field, and no, he can't get you free tickets for home games!
In the future, Chris hopes to work for a small architectural firm. He has been interviewing in the Philadelphia area as well as here at home.

Julie Townsend
|
Julie Townsend received her M.A.in Interior Architecture/Design (Delta Epsilon Sigma Honor Society) in May 2011from Marywood University and her B.F.A.in Interior Architecture/ Design in 2010. She grew up in Cortland, NY and currently lives in Scranton.
"I've always had a creative mind and a passion for art and architecture," she says. "My interest in interior design is now focused on the human experience of architecture and how places effect our emotions. I would like to someday design institutional facilities, such as hospitals and nursing homes, because I feel these places have great potential but are often overlooked."
In addition to her internship, she also teaches an AutoCAD class at ITT Technical Institute and works as a sales associate at Big Lots on the weekends. Her passions include traveling to new places and seeing different styles of architecture. When not working (a rare occasion), she enjoys any time spent outside in the sun. Her hobbies include painting, photography, and scrapbooking. She recently adopted two kittens named Maggie and Charlie.
