HELP COLLECT SHOE BOXES FOR HOSPICE PATIENTS!

Kaiser Permanente Hospice team is collecting shoe boxes that will be decorated and fortified into medication boxes for Kaiser's Home Health Hospice patients as a way of helping family members keep medication organized.

We are in great need of small boxes and  it would be so helpful if we could collect children's shoe boxes (which are smaller than adult ones).

There will be a plastic bin at the entrance of the school with a sign. The whole hospice volunteer program at Kaiser appreciates the school's help. Of course this is also a great way to recycle your child's shoe boxes!  Thank you,

 Greetings!

Before introducing our new editor, I'd like to thank Mim Britton who has dedicated time and energy to produce the Écho, your best ally to stay informed on all SDFAS activities. We wish her all the best as she starts a new professional challenge.

Emily Sims just took up the torch and brings this edition to your mailbox today. Emily has been a much appreciated English teacher until the beginning of the school year, when she decided to devote time to her new born baby. We welcome her back, as she will edit the next few editions of Écho and 123 Soleil.

The last period of the school year is under way and the Écho will keep you informed on all upcoming events, from Mini-Forum and the Junior Olympics to the end of year shows and the Kermesse.

I'll close with excellent news: work has just started this Monday on the expansion project, and we hope to see great progress by the end of June!

Christian Jarlov,

Head of School

Christian Jarlov,

Chef d'établissement

SCHOOL CALENDAR: Sponsorship

Calendar

As we are currently preparing for the 2012- 2013 school year, we  would like to offer you the  opportunity to give your business exposure with our community.  In September, we will distribute a copy  of our school calendar to all  SDFAS families and some friends .

Through this calendar, we  offer 12 sponsorship opportunities; one  per month.

Sponsorships cost $325 per month or $1 per printed calendar. We believe that you or your company could be interested in advertising to SDFAS families through this sponsorship opportunity.  The months will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.   What we will need from sponsors is the art work that will be used for the advertisement and the top 3 months of preference.  We will then predominately place their logo on the picture page of the first month available corresponding to their choice. If you are interested in sponsoring one or several month(s) in the 2012-2013 SDFAS calendar, please send Veronique Rahmati a picture in jpeg format in high resolution (logo, address, picture, business card) before June 30, 2012.

As an added bonus for the next school year, we are offering a combined calendar/yearbook package. For every sponsorship you purchase in the calendar, you will be able to place an ad in the yearbook for 20% off the regular yearbook ad price. You can double your exposure to the SDFAS community.

The following prices will apply:

Full page: $240

1/2 page: $120

¼ page: $77

Please contact Veronique Rahmati at: development@sdfrenchschool.org if you have any questions.

Thank you for your support of SDFAS.
