Liberal Waterfowl Regs Approved Late Goose Season Included
California Waterfowl is excited to announce that "liberal" waterfowl regulations for the 2011-12 hunting season have been approved by the California Fish and Game Commission. Included is a NEW 5-day white-fronted and white goose season in February. Other highlights include a six white-front limit for most zones and the continuation of the Early Canada goose season. Deer Hunt Opportunity in CWA Hunt Program
Dove Hunt Deadline Approaching: August 20th
Big game hunters, do not miss this opportunity to win a Private Land Management buck tag for a black-tailed deer at Rancho los Cerritos near Winters, CA. In partnership with Rancho los Cerritos, California Waterfowl introduces the Hunt Program's first deer hunting opportunity. The 1,400+ acres ranch falls within the ranges of the East Park - Capay Deer Herd.
The dove hunt deadline for our Hunt Program ends on August 20th. All waterfowl hunting opportunities will be posted by August 8. California Waterfowl's Hunt Program can accommodate all ages and all abilities, including mobility impaired hunters. All hunt applications are a mere $5. There is a limit of one application per hunt, per person.

CWA Calling Clinic, August 13th

California Waterfowl, in partnership with Rancho Esquon is hosting a duck and goose calling clinic for duck and goose callers of all ages and skill levels. Championship duck and goose callers will be on site to ensure the finest instruction possible. The clinic is on August 13th, at Rancho Esquon in Durham, Ca. Our Wood Duck Program has hatched more than 580,000 ducklings, while our Banding Programs have marked more than 183,000 waterfowl. Our Youth and Education Programs have reached more than 250,000 children, young adults, and families to help to create a better understanding of biology, conservation, and outdoor heritage. All efforts are supported largely by donations and the work of over 1,500 dedicated and tireless volunteers.
