Leaf PeepingGreetings!

First things first: it is NOT pronounced FOY-ledge, it is pronounced FOE-lee-edge.

There. One of my pet peeves has been officially aired.

With that bit of unpleasantness out of the way, I hope you enjoy your leaf (and art) peeping as autumn descends on Tompkins County. Just don't spend so much time amongst the trees that you miss the grant deadlines and calls for art featured in this month's ArtsLetter!

Happy Peeping,

Brett Bossard, Executive Director

Longview Show
October 1 -  October 31

Longview Group Show

Longview is a senior residential community. This group show features a variety of work (sculpture, paintings, photography) from about 8 artists from Longview!

Longview Show

Many of the residents of Longview have found that without the worries and cares of keeping up a house and property, they have more time and energy to devote to their passions, including art.

Several of the artists in this group were art teachers or commercial artists who have found time in retirement to pursue art for themselves finally. Other residents discovered talents during classes and workshops offered at Longview.

Reception: Friday, October 5, 5-8pm
Artist Talk: Tuesday, October 16, 6:30-7:30pm
