Americans for the ArtsGreetings!

School's nearly out, and we're cooking up some great summer surprises for you here at CAP. In the coming month, we'll have the official results of TWO major projects in which we participated over the past year, both with our friends from Americans for the Arts: the Arts & Economic Prosperity IV study and the Local Arts Index project.  Together, these two reports will show that the Arts truly MEAN BUSINESS in Tompkins County.

In the meantime, I want to PROFUSELY thank everyone who attended, promoted, followed, or participated in this year's remarkably successful Spring Writes Literary Festival! When all was said and done, the 27 events at the 3rd annual literary gathering attracted more than 1,600 attendees. To see some of the highlights of the weekend, visit the festival Facebook page.

You'll find plenty of great opportunities for artists and arts organizations to squeeze in between graduation parties in this month's ArtsLetter. Those and more are listed below...

Cheers!

Brett Bossard, Executive Director
