Greetings!

The warmest of greetings to you as we begin the chilly holiday season in Tompkins County. As another year winds down at CAP, we're thankful for the abundance of arts that have flourished despite difficult financial times.

Our grant panels are meeting over the coming weeks, and we'll have awards for 2011 to announce soon. In the meantime, please come see the remaining 2010 exhibitions at the CAP ArtSpace and check out the many opportunities for artists listed in this issue of the ArtsLetter.

Also, if you haven't yet made a contribution to CAP, your time is running out to be recognized as a 2010 Partner-in-the-Arts. Much of what we do at the Community Arts Partnership depends on the generosity of member artists, individuals, and businesses like you. Please consider making a gift in your own name or in honor of a loved one during the holiday season. Simply click on the "Donate" button in this e-mail  to support CAP's many services and programs for artists and arts-lovers in our community.

Cheers,

Brett Bossard, Executive Director

Barbara Page Show

CURRENTLY AT CAP ArtSpace

Barbara Page
"The Dot and the Line"
through November 30

Barbara Page explores connections between several series of drawings and collages created in her Trumansburg studio. All of the work on exhibit is based on construction of imaginary networks, locations, and situations. Sewing patterns---cut, pasted, and pierced with pins---provide structure for her "Micromaps." In the "Live Wires and Dead Ends" series, she uses technical drafting tools on vellum to record a progression from order into chaos.
