Two new kosher/vegetarian restaurants have opened in the area, Maoz Vegetarian in Hoboken and Sapthagiri Taste of India in Jersey City.

Maoz Vegetarian is located at 315 Washington Street, close to the PATH station.  Customers can eat in or take out.  Delivery is also available.  Maoz is under the hashgacha (kosher supervision) of Rabbi Israel Mayer Steinberg.  Maoz is part of a chain of over 25 vegetarian restaurants located throughout the eastern US and Western Europe.

Sapthagiri Taste of India is located at 804 Newark Avenue in the Little India section of Jersey City, and is under the hashgacha of Rabbi Shlomo Marks of Congregation Mount Sinai of Jersey City.

Links to both restaurants' websites are available on the HudsonJewish website, under the "Cuisine" section of the "Directory" tab.
