Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala invite you to help give an education and save a life do by attending the annual Fundraising Dinner for one of their favoured charities, Learning for Life, on Tuesday, 22nd May from 6.30pm at Cafe Spice Namaste. Here is a charity that enables South Asia's poorest populations to gain access to education, health and employment. Learning for Life provide schools for marginalised children, release child labourers from dangerous and appalling working conditions, teach women about their rights, and offer vocational training to families struggling to survive. Our friends at Meantime Brewery have matched their artisan and unique beers to perfectly complement the delicate and exciting flavours of Chef Patron Cyrus' very special menu.You will enjoy a different award-winning beer with every course. There will also be a silent auction from the Broad Gallery, which specialises in 20th century works and boasts a rich and diverse collection of original artworks by some of the most celebrated artists of the modern era. And to help add even greater harmony to what we expect will be a joyful evening, there will be live entertainment to 'knock your socks off' by the Somaye Jazz Duo who have performed in a number of excellent jazz venues, including the legendary Ronnie Scott's.

THE KHAADRAAS CLUB DINNER

This is one of the original homages to a great matriarch, one who ruled the kitchen as well as she ruled the hearts of her children, one of them the precocious, young would-be chef Cyrus Todiwala. Now nearing our twentieth dinner, we continue to amaze guests with the unusual, sophisticated flavours of one of the world's lesser known cuisines. This is not a 'club' in the usual sense but an open and friendly gathering of 'Greedy Gourmands' in search of the secrets of Parsee cuisine.
