Starters

 Aadu Lasan Mamurghi Na Bota 

Cubes of chicken fillet marinated with fresh garlic, ginger, green chilli, cumin & spices,skewered and grilled in the tandoor

 

Wild Seabass Mappas on Oriental Coleslaw

Fillet of sustainably sourced wild seabass marinated in tamarind and chilli with crushed peppercorns, roasted and served on a bed of shredded Savoy cabbage & carrot tossed in a tongue-tingling dressing of minced chilli, ginger, garlic & cucumber in vinegar and palm sugar

 

Kofta Dil Pasand

'Dil Pasand'...the heart's desire! Potato croquette filled with Indian whey cheese, blended with crushed nuts & dates, fried and served on a bed of saffron-flavoured korma sauce

 

Medu Wada Sambar

The strongest competitor to the venerable Dosa, these deep fried white lentil dumplings served with a lentil soup are an extremely popular snack in India

 Mains

Kolmi No Patio

Prawns (kolmi) cooked in a sweet & sour gravy (patio). Served with saffron-flavoured Basmati rice

 

 Pista Kulli Murgh

'Kulli' means 'bud', as in flowers. Breast of chicken filled with pureed and chopped pistachios, almonds & cheese, flavoured with roasted fennel seeds, rolled and simmered in saffron-flavoured creamy korma sauce. Served with saffron pulao

 

Roast Lamb Masala

Diced lamb part-roasted then slow-cooked in a gravy of minced red onion & tomato, flavoured with whole spices, until tender. Served with saffron rice

 

British 'in season' Vegetable Platter

Taking into account our nation's nest at the moment, which could be special varieties of beetroot, parsnips, brussels sprouts, swedes, turnips, cavolo nero & others. The platter consists of two vegetables, daal, rice & a roti plus raita
