Scotch Whisky is many an Indian's favourite tipple, and so is the perfect match for gourmet cuisine from the marvellous Subcontinent. Fine whiskies have for many years complemented the food of India, their elegant yet robust flavours bringing out the best in the most sophisticated Indian food. 


Join us and the venerable Scotch Malt Whisky Society for a lively Pan-Asian Dinner and Tasting Evening with Chef Patron Cyrus Todiwala. Cyrus has created 4 magnificent courses, and the Society has provided 5 drams to demonstrate the magic behind the pairing of gourmet Indian  food with the best single malt, single cask whisky! No names, just descriptors. Namaste! 

 

The Menu 
On arrival...An Unusual Sweetie Shop served with Curried Lamb Puffs and Lamb & Spinach Tartlets

 

First course...A Fruity Little Charmer served with Machchi No Cutless nay Tamota ni Giroby - mixed fish and oak-smoked spiced salmon cake served on a bed of cinammon and malt vinegar-flavoured tomato sauce

 

Second course...Chutney on Hot Wood served with Tandoori Goosnargh Duck Sausage marinated in traditional spices and chargrilled, served with diced rabbit, venison and pigeon spiced, filled in pastry and baked

 

Third course...Hansel & Gretel served with Murghi Na Farcha. Nay Patio - Thigh of Ross Chicken marinated in cumin and chili, crumbed, rolled in egg and fried, served on a bed of hot sweet & sour gravy flavoured with raw cane sugar and malted cane vinegar and garlic rice

 

Dessert...Scorched & Smouldering  served with Crushed Apple Pie with Cassia Custard, Soft Gorgonzola in Savoury Tart, Salted Caramel  Chocolate
