We have had many question about how to "write in" vote, to answer the question we will use Jim McKenna, a Republican Candidate for Attorney General who is running against Martha Coakley.
In order to get Jim on the ballot he needs 10,000 write in votes.
Here's how to write him in;
-
Step #1 ) If you are not enrolled -
Request a Republican
Ballot
- Step #2 ) Make sure you received a
Republican Ballot
- Step #3 ) Your Choice for Attorney General should be blank.
All ballots must have an area designated
as a write-in space. This space allows a voter to physically write in the name
of a person other than those names already printed on the ballot and thereby
obtain a vote.
- step #4)
Check or darken the WRITE-IN SPACE oval
( some towns connect arrow )
- Step #5)
Write-In....
James McKenna
