Are you using a prong collar or choke chain?
Does your dog walk YOU by pulling you down the street?

Our trainer suggests a "head collar" such as a haltie or gentle leader.  A martingale is a good collar to work with as well.

Don't "reward" your dog for pulling towards a destination.  Example, if your dog is pulling towards a tree to pee on, don't let him/her get to it.  You are rewarding the bad behavior and it will continue.
