Yes, it is really that easy. Just setting the intention will keep your practice easy and light. When on your mat and experiencing your practice just allow yourself to breathe easy. Then as you move through the postures you will feel a sense of calmness and peace begin to engulf your practice and your life. This new feeling of ease will help you with everything from managing stress to skiing down the mountain. If you let yourself be in your practice, your practice will be in you. At that point we can throw our resolutions away and just live a wonderful life now.

The editing process for the book is now done. The final cover is in design and the book will be printed and published in the next few months. Once the book is released it will be available everywhere.

 

Submitting Your Story

 

We all have a personal story. Would you like to have your story included and published in a future collection of similar stories in an upcoming book? If your story is selected for publication within a future printed book or e-book we will pay you $200 and provide you with five printed copies of the book.

If you know Sarah you know that she is a very colorful woman in everything she does. Whether she is practicing yoga, snowboarding or as Fine Arts Director at the Boys and Girls Club, Sarah lives her life to the fullest. 
 
Sarah first started Bikram Yoga almost three years ago in March of 2009. During her early classes she was dealing with low back pain that she attributes to collegiate field hockey. She practiced all 10 days of her Intro Package. When moving through the "spine strengthening series" in yoga class she would experience all her back pain coming up - at times needing to rest in savasana on her stomach rather than her back. Slowly but surely her pain began to dissipate and today she has no more back pain. Now she loves to feel her spine and energy in Rabbit Pose. Just last night she said that her spine felt so good!
 
Since Sarah first started Bikram Yoga she has attended class over 350 times. That's practicing about every three days. At one point she came to class 56 days in a row. She finds that the yoga has helped her mind be much more calm and has more energy and patience in working with the youth in her career. It used to be difficult for her to fall asleep but now she loves sleeping. Even her hands which would turn white, blue, purple, yellow, numb and painful from Raynauds disease are much much better. Perhaps having less color in her hands has now moved to giving her more color in her life!
