"What are you looking at?" That is the slogan of The Other Film Festival in Melbourne, Australia. See What I'm Saying has been invited to the inaugural Deaf screening program within the festival, a huge honor for us. The festival is bringing Hilari Scarl and CJ Jones to Australia to participate in a Q&A after our film as well as a Sunday panel discussion about working with Deaf actors. Please send your friends in Australia to our screening at 8pm on Friday, August 27th. Audio description will be provided as well as our usual open captions. I can hardly wait!
DMZ Korean Documentary Festival See What I'm Saying has been invited to screen in the demilitarized zone in Korea. "DMZ Docs will introduce the best documentaries to the international
audiences through the DMZ, the symbol of 'peace' and 'life'." The film will retain its English captions as well as projecting Korean captions simultaneously for this festival.

Support of 20th anniversary of ADA On July 26, 2010, the 20th anniversary of the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA), the U.S. House of Representatives passed the
Twenty-first Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act (H.R.
3101) with a vote of 348 to 23. H.R. 3101 has key provisions that will greatly improve captions, communication and access for the deaf and hard of hearing community. Hurray!

Updates from TL, CJ, Bob and Robert - our four fabulous entertainers of the film
TL had a great performance in Las Vegas and continues to rock in her unique way! She is encouraging her fans to join her TL Forsberg Fan Page on facebook since I think her admirers have overwhelmed her other sites. She will be performing live at our screening at DeaFest in Kentucky over Labor Day weekend. Birthday is September 8th.
CJ continues to wow audiences at performances everywhere. He was mobbed by fans when he appeared as a guest judge at CSDR Movie Night. He is busy working on his Sign World TV and will be at the Q&A at the Other Film Festival in Melbourne and performing at Kentucky DeaFest. Birthday is September 29th.
Bob rocked Las Vegas with Beethoven's Nightmare and will be performing at Kentucky DeaFest. Bob joined Hilari Scarl at our screening in Vancouver in his Canadian home turf. Friends came out of the woodwork from across the country to celebrate Bob. More Beethoven's Nightmare shows seem to be popping up everywhere! Bob's birthday is TOMORROW, August 1st. Happy birthday, Bob!
Robert remains true to his sign name (and title of his one man show) "Robert where?" but has been spied teaching (or should we say playing many pranks) at Arizona Total Immersion and will be performing at Kentucky DeaFest. You will get to see more of Robert very soon with some upcoming news. Robert's birthday is October 29.
More good news for many of our SEE WHAT I'M SAYING entertainers:
Shoshannah Stern was just cast in the television show "Lie to Me." Troy Kotsur was hired as the director of the new feature film Deaf Ghost. Ryan Lane was spotted in the new Apple iPhone Face Time television commercial.
Congratulations everyone!! Feel free to post YOUR See What I'm Saying-related news on our facebook fan page.
