I am proud to announce that the Deaf Entertainers Documentary is now officially named SEE WHAT I'M SAYING and is moving full speed ahead. We have filmed 122 hours to date (I think a good 25 hours are from the AZTI experience!) and have several more key events coming up this fall before we finish filming by the end of the year. Our goal is to have the film finished by summer of 2008. I plan on keeping all of you posted on our progress. Each one of you has played an important role in this project, and will continue to play an even more important role in the coming year. Check out our new promo - you may see some familiar faces! We are continuing to keep our grassroots movement growing strong as we simultaneously approach commercial venues for theatrical distribution. We are still raising money for production and are hoping to raise the last $50,000 in the next two months. We have been accepted into the International Documentary Association's fiscal sponsor program, which means that all donations are tax deductible. We are also courting corporations for sponsorship, so please let me know if you work for a company that would be open to receiving information about sponsorship.
