Connor's Story
 
In an instant Connor Yeargan's life changed forever.  Eight-year old Connor was an active and playful child. He played sports and enjoyed hanging out with his 5 year old brother Davis.  One afternoon as the family was enjoying a leisurely day outside, Connor's dad, Victor was mowing the lawn and the boys were outside playing.  Connor approached his dad from behind unexpectedly while he was on the lawnmower and a quick turn later, the lawnmower had severed Connor's foot.  Full story

Our Annual Share-a-Night Annual Campaign is underway.  With your investment and support we can reach our fundraising goal of $100,000.00.  Contributions to our Share-a-Night Campaign will be used to reduce the burden of the cost for families to stay at the Ronald McDonald House. We invite you as a donor and friend to be a part of our mission by serving our families and our community.

Due Date for RMHC Scholarship Application is February 16
 
The due date for submission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities scholarship application is February 16, 2009.  More information is available at www.rmhc.org.   We encourage local applicants to also visit www.rmhchattanooga.com  for additional information and local guidelines.  The scholarships are $1,000 academic scholarships.  All applications must be postmarked by February 16, 2009.
Telethon set for February 28
 
The 19th Annual Telethon is set for Saturday, February 28, 7 - 11 p.m. Tune into WTVC News Channel 9 for a four-hour live telecast from Ronald McDonald House featuring heartwarming local family stories, volunteer testimonials, plus much more.
