Duncan Lawrence's arrival was a big surprise. His parents, Amanda a,n English professor at Young Harris College and Tom, an engineer for Universal Avionics, came to Chattanooga, TN from their home in Blairsville, GA for a routine doctor visit at Erlanger.   During the check up, doctors discovered that Amanda's body had already set itself up to deliver the baby.  Full Story

AUTUMN CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL ON OCT 6 & 7
First 500 children get free bike helmets
Join the fun at the 18th Annual Autumn Children's Festival on Saturday, October 6, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday, October 7, 1 - 5 p.m.  at the Tennessee Riverpark on Amnicola Highway.  Admission is free.   The festival features fun for children of all ages;  more  than 100 fun-filled games and activities, giant inflatables, pony rides, arts and crafts, magic shows, carnival games, a petting zoo, food and free Mayfield ice cream. Friends of RMHC Bowl-a-Rama

 

Dust off your bowling shoes because it's time for a Bowl-a Rama. Friends of Ronald McDonald House Charities are hosting a Bowl-a-Rama on Saturday, October 20 at the Holiday Bowl on Brainerd Rd.
