Make A Wish
 
For several years, Luis Vargas' daughter, Natalia, has been battling45 leukemia. Luis is one of Executive Chauffeuring's exceptional dispatchers. The Make a Wish Foundation has been involved with the family for some time, to help cheer up a frail little girl and make her wishes come true! When the Vargas family was invited to Disneyworld, Make a Wish, of course, included a limousine pick-up and return. EC was only too happy to be the company that donated its transportation services! Pictured are Sabrina (wife and mother), Natalia and Luis Vargas. The family is happy to report that little Natalia is doing extremely well! Special wishes to all.

New "A Level" Drivers! 
 
1959Congratulations to Greg Williams (#13, top photo) and Raza Nasir (#14, bottom) on their promotions to "A Level" Drivers. Twice a year, Executive Chauffeuring's dispatchers and customers (through direct feedback) vote on the drivers that are "the best of the best." Superb customer service, attention to every detail (including their vehicle), professionalism and other details are all taken into account.

 

Raza NasirAll of EC's drivers go through drug screening, criminal background checks (through the FBI) and have Motor Vehicle Reports reviewed for driver safety records. We also require drivers to undergo intensive classroom and on-the-road training, incorporating navigation and our high-level customer service standards. 
 
 
 
Airport Procedures 
 

The newsletter gives us an opportunity to convey information to45 our customers from survey feedback, comments and suggestions. A key  area  is airport pickup procedures. The Chicago O'Hare International Airport can be a confusing place, especially when you're a first time-traveler. Upon arrival at the airport, please call us from the baggage claim level after picking up your luggage. The EC customer service agent will give you a license plate number (3-4 digits long), description of vehicle type and direct you to the exact door, giving you an approximate time of vehicle arrival (ave. 10-12 minutes). The vehicle is immediately dispatched to the terminal from the limousine staging area. In heavy volume times, it can take from 15-30 minutes once the car is sent out to the terminals. EC will do its best to give the most accurate estimated time of arrival (ETA) and ask for your cell number to notify you when the vehicle arrives at your terminal.
 
The City of Chicago has designated specific exits as "pickup doors" (from the baggage-claim area)  for livery vehicles. There has been some confusion on door assignment due to  construction at the terminals. During construction times, some doors have  changed and/or permanently closed. EC will try to keep you updated as we receive information from the Manager of Landside Operations at O'Hare Airport.
 
Possible problem scenarios occur when customers:

·         call for a vehicle from the plane

·         call before picking up luggage

·         call while walking through the terminal.

Once the vehicle is dispatched to pick you up, it cannot circle or wait at the terminal, as O'Hare's ground security has a no-wait policy. If your vehicle is asked to move, it will have to go back to the staging area, adding about 15-25 extra minutes for pickups.
 
Flight arrival times are tracked with our integrated flight-tracking system. Once you arrive and find there is a delay with your luggage pickup, please call our office to give us an update. Passengers only need to call if their flight has been cancelled or diverted.
