Hi, I'm Journey.  I don't know how to READ yet, but I'm working on it.

Journey-edited
Welcome back.  The teams at New England Pet Partners hope all is well with you and your partners.  To kick off the launching of our renovated web site, we welcomed two facilities, Saints Medical Center, Lowell, MA and Chelmsford Crossing, Chelmsford, MA to our growing list.

To slough off the winter doldrums, we welcomed Spring with some healthy canine massage & acupressure.

All enjoyed a delightful afternooon (otherwise they lied on their evaluations), with Board Director and Founder of Rub-My-Belly (website coming soon), Karen Lachapelle.  Canine Massage and Acupressure are a gift we can give to our dogs (pets) that makes us feel good too.  Requiring training to become certified, anyone can learn the basics to share with their canine, feline or equine friends.  It is a very good way to relax your partner before and after a visit.  Simple ear-slides and a few compressions or skin-rolls will create a more peaceful before and afer experience.

Pet Partner Moment - Welcome new Team
It is always a joy to welcome new pet partner & READ teams to NEPP.  Recently, the team of Jackie & Daisy Dawson went above and beyond, working gently and diligently to glean their skills before passing the PP Team Skills and Aptitude Test.
Thanks to facilities like Chelmsford Crossing in Chelmsford, MA and Director, Diane Parks, teams like Jackie & Daisy are sharing joy with a smile.

Find a Facility

NEPP added a Find a Facility page to our renewed website.  We welcome facilities with Pet Partners and/or R.E.A.D. registered teams to add their requested information.  Please fill out the form and mail to neppnh@comcast.net.

NEPP Board of Directors welcome your questions and constructive feedback.  Be mindful that most of us work and/or are raising kids / puppies (other).  E-mails make the best initial contact.  Follow-up with a phone call if your questions have not been answered.

Becoming a registered team is a wonderful intention. If you do not have pup/dog yet, but want to become a registered therapy team, shadowing another team is an excellent way to discover what happen.  Then, beginning at Step A is the best place to start---websites DeltaSociety, READ, NEPP

Explore the websites, write down a few quesitons you need clarified, and we will help you find the path of least resisitance.

It takes a village to raise a great therapy dog.  This one is 8-weeks old.  Her mom, Reba, lives with Betsy Quitko, RN in CT, where Betsy integrates the READ program into the school system.

Enjoy Spring,
Maureen & the beginning of a blossoming therapy dog, Journey, being raised by a dedicated group of people (a Team).
