Kids: Close The Door
Is your kids room a mess?
Forget the constant battle to get them to clean up and try this:
Let them know if their room is messy you don't want to see it. They must keep the door closed.
It is extremely difficult (if not impossible) to get kids, especially teenagers, interested in straightening up their room. With so many battles in store for us as parents, why not take this one out of the mix?
Your new mantra: If there is stuff on the floor - you must close the door. |

Time: Productivity
Developing good systems helps improve productivity.
1. Ease into new routines. It helps to make the adjustment easier.
2. Be consistent. Routines become habit when they are done regularly and become the norm.
3. Plan in advance. Nobody likes to operate in panic mode. Projects should be broken into small tasks and each task assigned a due date. Leave extra time for edits and delays.
Routines are great when they work. If a routine is not working, examine it and revise as needed to make it better.
