Fall is approaching and winter is not far behind.

If you still have outdoor projects you want to tackle before the cold sets in, now is a good time to do it.

Sincerely,
Sharon F. Danzger

Tip of the Month:

Today's stack of mail can become tomorrow's pile of papers.

Create a system for dealing with papers that come into your home and make the effort each day to maintain it.

Kids:  Cake for Breakfast
Birthday CakeWant a simple and easy way to create a fun tradition your kids will always remember?

Have cake for breakfast when it's a family member's birthday!

It doesn't need to be a bakery cake - in our house, we always have Entenmann's.  It's easy to find and always available.
Time:  Add Fluff
Time Calendar Find yourself very tight on time or always running a few minutes behind?

Pad a little extra time into your calendar.  Back-to-back appointments can be stressful if one runs over by a few minutes; things often take longer than we expect.

If you run on time and have time to spare, use it to read, catch up on e-mails or play  video games.  Bejeweled Blitz only takes a minute!
Home & Office:  Manage Expectations
ExpectationsWe sometimes commit ourselves to a project with a short or unreasonable deadline in an effort to please our boss or client.

Not meeting expectations can lead to distrust, stress and disappointment.

Insist on a deadline that is reasonable.  Always factor in extra time in case something goes wrong.  Consistently meeting a deadline (or exceeding it) builds trust and establishes a reputation for reliability.
